Dr. Peter A. Rienzo is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds added qualifications in pain medicine. He is also board certified by The American Board of Pain Medicine. He brings his many years of experience to our patients.

Dr. Rienzo provides treatment for acute and chronic pain and provides all modalities of pain management, including medication management, anesthesia blocks, percutaneous discectomy, radiofrequency ablation, and implantable devices such as spinal cord stimulators. He is committed to helping patients achieve a safe and comfortable experience and the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Rienzo graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pace University, followed by his medical degree from Saint Georges University School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training at Monmouth Medical Center, including internships in General Surgery and Internal Medicine and a residency in Anesthesiology. Dr. Rienzo served as Director of Surgical Services and Vice Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
