Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional, patient-focused care in our orthopedic office. In this role, you will assist with surgical preparation, guide patients through treatment and recovery, and ensure a positive, supportive experience.

Travel is required to our various office locations.

Duties

  • Assist providers during patient visits
  • Coordinate surgical care and ensure all pre and post op requirements are met
  • Pharmacology/medication interactions
  • Lab assessment
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
  • Triage patient phone calls and provide appropriate clinical advice
  • Timely coordination/deadline oriented
  • Ensure compliance with office policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of managed insurances is a plus
  • Compassionate, professional and detail-oriented
  • Case management experience is a plus
  • Administrative skills

 

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The salary range for this role is $90,000-$100,000. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
