Radiologic Technologist
Full-time Radiology
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographs according to provider orders and established protocols.
- Ensure all imaging procedures are completed efficiently while maintaining a high standard of image quality and patient care.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures while adhering to ALARA guidelines to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff and self.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images with minimal repeats.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in safe, proper working order.
- Accurately document patient procedures in EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical/clinical assistants, and other healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing quality assurance and quality control testing/documentation as required by NJ state standards.
- Maintain equipment as per safety standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and professional knowledge.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (R) certification and NJ Radiologic Technologist license.
- CPR (BLS) certification preferred.
- Experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of anatomy knowledge is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hiring range for this role is $37.00 – $45.00 per hour. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
