Workers' Compensation Scheduler

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Schedule workers’ compensation appointments in accordance with provider protocols and availability.
- Confirm appointment details with adjusters, nurse case managers, attorneys and patients and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and received.
- Communicate with adjusters, nurse case managers, and attorneys to coordinate scheduling needs and obtain authorization as needed.
- Respond to scheduling-related calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Route messages and inquiries to the appropriate personnel or clinical staff.
- Support Workers’ Compensation Liaison with clerical tasks such as document scanning, faxing, and data entry.
- Follow up on outstanding scheduling requests or pending authorizations.
- Miscellaneous duties assigned by Supervisor and Management
Qualifications
- Prior administrative or scheduling experience, preferably in a medical or workers’ compensation setting.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (ModMed experience a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of scheduling activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus.
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hiring range for this role is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
