Dr. Stamos is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports-related injuries, knee and shoulder surgery. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and followed with a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School, during which he participated in the care of the New England Patriots and Revolution, Boston Bruins and Breakers, Harvard University and Curry College. He has advanced training in both arthroscopic knee and shoulder reconstruction. He previously served as head team physician for the NJ Sky Blue Women’s Professional Soccer Team. He currently serves as team physician for multiple local high schools and is a consultant to the New Jersey State Police.
