About Dennis Nutini, MD

Specializing in Non-Operative Sports Medicine

Dr. Nutini is a board-certified, fellowship trained non-operative sports medicine physician specializing in athletic and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee.  After completing a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, he pursued further training and was accepted into a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.  There, he served as a team physician at Notre Dame College and an assistant team physician for the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, and their local minor league affiliate. 

He also served as a covering physician for the 2013 Mid-American Conference Basketball Tournament, the 2012 Cleveland State University Wrestling Open Tournament, the 2012 New York Penn League ‘A’ Minor League All Star Game, and the 2012 OHSAA State Semifinal High School Football Game.  He previously served as head team physician for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and currently participates in athletic coverage at several local high schools.

Along with this vast sports medicine coverage, he also became proficient in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound diagnostic and interventional techniques.  He is an expert in sports concussion management and was the lead clinical provider for the MassGeneral Children’s Concussion Clinic.
