Megan graduated summa cum laude from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ, with a B.S. in Health Studies – Exercise Science in 2021. While at Monmouth University she played on the Division 1 women’s soccer team for 4 years on a scholarship. She graduated with an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ in 2024.
Megan is board certified with the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Megan’s athletic career was the driving force behind her pursuing a career in Orthopedics.
She completed a thesis research project during her undergraduate studies entitled: The Psychosocial Impact on Injured Athletes Throughout their Recovery. This research analyzed how individual personality traits, the phases of recovery, and social support systems all affect an athlete and how they change over time when dealing with a traumatic injury.
