Dr. Hollawell attended Moravian College where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree.  He was also a four-year starter, all-American, national player of the year nominee, a two-time conference defensive player of the year, and two-time first-team all-conference player in NCAA football.

He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, he completed his podiatric surgical residency at MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA (currently Penn Presbyterian Medical Center podiatric surgical residency). Dr. Hollawell is a Fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  He is board-certified in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery and Foot Surgery.

In addition to his role as a foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Hollawell is our foot and ankle fellowship Director.  He is also an attending physician for the podiatric surgical residency at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

In an effort to enhance patient outcomes, Dr. Hollawell has designed a number of orthopaedic surgical devices currently used in foot and ankle surgery. He has also published numerous peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals.  Additional professional responsibilities include serving as a board examiner for the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, acting as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and Foot & Ankle Specialist, serving as a current committee member for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and lecturing nationally and internationally in his field of foot and ankle surgery and medicine.
